Sunbrella Contract is excited to launch a new partnership with Standard Textile Interiors, slated to debut June 2021. This new collection uses Sunbrella Assure, an environmentally-conscious fluorine-free technology for durable, water repellent, and stain resistant fabrics that promotes a healthier environment. Sunbrella Assure meets the Heathier Hospital Initiative (HHI) goals for a safer environment, while giving designers the freedom of fabric options with bright and dynamic patterns.
What does Florine-Free Fabric Mean?
Fluorine-free stain resistance lowers the negative impact on our world and our health. Fabrics featuring Sunbrella Assure deliver stain resistance through a proprietary bio-based formula that combats the absorption of water-based spills and messes without the use of fluorochemicals. The base compound in this technology contains 63% renewably sourced content derived from a variety of plant-based sources, carefully selected to be from non-genetically modified (non-GMO) and non-food-source feedstock.

The new collection with Standard Textiles features three patterns in various colorways:
Westwood is available in eight colorways with a handwoven, artisan feel. This provides a classic, textural option that will pair beautifully with both solids and patterns.
Chimera is available in six colorways and features a beautiful, mid to large scale abstract pattern with textural elements and a diverse color range.
Zion is available in four colorways. This geometric pattern offers an interesting composition that will elevate any space, and its small scale doesn’t overwhelm the eye.
